This PRS Custom 24, finished in Autumn Sky, features a truly gorgeous flame maple top. The grain is unique - it doesn't have the uniform tautness that most flame maple. It's more fluid and diverse, with broader lines down by the controls and crisper marks just behind the bridge. The body and Pattern Regular neck are mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood with Bird inlays. The 57/08 pickups are responsive, focused and articulate, suitable for any musical landscape distorted or clean. The PRS Phase III locking tuners and PRS tremolo bridge ensure tuning stability no matter what. This Custom 24 is a perfectly balanced, stunning looking guitar that'll thrive in any musical context. * A note about the 57/08 PICKUPS: Paul Reed Smith acquired one of the old pickup winding machines used by Gibson in the late 50's to wind these pickups. They are wound with the same wire that is found on some of the most coveted guitars and pickups in the world. They are absolutely outstanding in quality and tone.
